BYLAWS

This association shall be known as PENN MAR VINTAGE RACE CAR CLUB, INC. with its headquarters in Mechanicsburg, PA. The governing body shall consist of five or seven board members (President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Public Relations, Safety Tech), who will volunteer to serve at least a two-year term starting in November of each year. A board member's responsibility will consist of treasurer, secretary, and safety official, booking race events, track line-ups, tracking points, and assisting other board members with tasks at hand. The board members will discuss and approve all PENN MAR VINTAGE RACE CAR CLUB, INC. affairs. All affairs will be a board member group approval (majority will rule on any vote). The board members can resign at any time with written notice to other board members.

Once a rule has been voted on it stays in affect for at least two years. The board has the right to bring up any rule and look at it to make it better by voting.

Qualifications to be a board member. Must have been a member of the club for no less than two years. Your membership must be in good standing with the Club.

If a board member has a certain responsibility, he or she will be in charge of it. All questions will be directed to them. Their decisions will be final.

A board member can lose his or her board member status if membership dues are not paid, car does not meet all rules, and if they engage in any unsportsmanlike conduct.

Membership dues shall be $25.00 annually paid in full by APRIL 1 of each year and before a member can race with the Club. No refunds will be issued upon leaving, suspension, expulsion, or any other condition from PENN MAR VINTAGE RACE CAR CLUB, INC. An associate membership will be available for $5.00. They will receive all mailings and be able to attend all events, banquets, etc but will not be able to vote or drive.

Any out of pocket expenses by members pertaining to the PENN MAR VINTAGE RACE CAR CLUB, INC. will be reimbursed upon receipt.

Drivers of PENN MAR VINTAGE RACE CAR CLUB, INC. must be 18 years or older to operate cars in any event.

All members must sign a liability release form before participating in a PENN MAR VINTAGE RACE CAR CLUB,INC. event.

The PENN MAR VINTAGE RACE CAR CLUB, INC. will not be liable for any injuries or damages accruing to private property of its members at any time.
